The STAR Mirror test is designed to help show what you have learned so far.  This information will help focus our instruction and allow you to see progress in learning important content in this course during the year. 

It will take place over the next two days of class. 

Once you are finished please silently take out a SSR book and read for the remainder of the period.

1)      On a separate piece of paper, write the following events from Chapter 4 in chronological order.

2)      Circle the climax of the chapter and explain why you chose it.

~Ponyboy and Johnny walk to the water fountain in the park.

~Ponyboy and Johnny head to Buck Merrill’s to find Dally.

~Pony and Johnny sneak on a train.

~A blue Mustang pulls into the park and five Socs step out.

~Johnny kills Bob.

~Ponyboy is almost drowned in the fountain.

~Ponyboy and Johnny fall asleep in the church.

~Dally gives Ponyboy and Johnny money, a gun, and instructions on where to hide.

Have you ever see a large, colorful painting of a flower in full bloom. If so, you may have been lookin at a portrait by American artist Georgia O'Keeffe. Known for flower portraits and dessert landscapes, she was one of the most recognized artist's of the 20th Century. O'Keeffe gained the attention of the art world with the help of her husband a photographer named Alfred Stieglitz. She been born in Sun prairie, Wisconsin on November 15, 1887.
